Local recreational leagues may join our USFA recreational division beginning in the 2008 season. There are no charter costs involved; the yearly sanction fee i2 $15.00 per league team registered. (Every 5^th team is free!)
Local leagues will be assigned a district to compete in for tournament play. Each league must submit team rosters and pictures before regular season play begins. (4-15-08 deadline) We will be dealing with two different classes, C Class, or All-Star Division and D Class, or Draft Division. Tournament sites will be chosen through a blind draw and hosting leagues will be responsible for all costs (umpires, trophies, park rental, *USFA fee’s, etc.) but will earn all profits from said tournament (concessions, vendors, gate revenue, entry fee’s) At the end of the leagues regular season, league champions and runners-up from each age division and all districts will meet at a TBD location, (PARIS) on June 20^th-22^nd, to crown the "West Tennessee D Class Champion". Also during the regular season leagues may select their C Class or All Star teams at any time and begin competing in A, B, or C Class tournaments to prepare for the C Class District on May 16-18 (HUNTINGDON, 15U & 12U- McKENZIE, 10U- PARIS, 8U) Regional (May 3oth-June 1^st)(CAMDEN) State Tournaments (June 13^th-15^th). Girls who are signed up in your league but also participate with another travel team playing A or B ball are also eligible to represent their home leagues in these C class tournaments, at said leagues discretion. Each team that participates in their district tournament are eligible to play in the USFA C Regional. (FOR 2008 THE WEST REGIONAL WILL BE OPEN TO ALL REC LEAGUES THROUGHOUT WEST TENNESSEE IN THE INTEREST OF PROMOTING USFA). In 2009Tennessee will be split into 3 geographical locations EAST*MIDDLE*WEST with the top 4 teams from each regional advancing to the C Class State tournament to be held in a TBD location, TN. (FOR 2008 THE STATE TOURNAMENT WILL BE OPEN TO ALL REC LEAGUES THROUGHOUT THE STATE IN THE INTEREST OF PROMOTING USFA REC SOFTBALL) In addition the 2008 Eastern C Class National will in all likelihood be played somewhere in the state of Tennessee. All leagues MUST use USFA sanctioned umpires.

Tournament hosts will all supply the same prize packages, and charge the same gate entry fees. All tournaments will use a double elimination format. The following fees will apply to the tournaments.

D Class Championships- Team entry fee is $50.00 per team payable to host league- host league will forward $30.00 for each entry to West TN. USFA.

C Class Districts- Team entry fee is $50.00 per team payable to host league- host league will forward $30.00 for each entry to West TN. USFA.
